Originally from Somerset, I skipped the border to the beautiful Purbeck countryside in Dorset and re-launched myself as an artist after a break of 15 years. The area is very elemental, being near the coast and surrounded by rolling hills. Together with the amount of wildlife, an interest in folklore and being close to the earth, these are my inspirations. I love to paint and draw, handbuild in ceramics (I don't have a throwing wheel) as well as creating in other ways and with many materials such as upcycled paper.
